I took these at the Macon Hoedown in Macon. It was hosted by Macon Grocery and Two Wild Hearts Sanctuary, the non-profit I am a part of. The sanctuary had two of our really skinny horses to show people a little of what we do. It also had pony rides, which I helped run as well as goats that kids could feed. Apart from that, there was a ton of decor and games for kids to play. I went around capturing pictures of people during the event. This was one of my first times doing something like that so it was a little awkward. I love capturing candid pictures of people because I feel as though when we know the camera is there we aren't ourselves. It lets people see themselves how we see them. My favorite pictures from the Hoedown are the ones of people smiling and just having a good time.
